Frederick Reed Scheele

Of Jackson, passed away at Arbor North Assisted Living Center October 25, 2011 at the age of 95. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Virginia; two sons, Michael and William (Sue) Scheele; two grandchildren, Amy (Leonard)Schulz and Scott (Andria) Scheele; seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jeanne Ann. Frederick served in the Navy during WWII and enjoyed golfing, traveling and spending time with his family. He retired as president of Fulton Radio Supply Company after forty-five years of service and also worked several years at Cascades Golf Course (Short Course). According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial services will be held at Arbor North Living Center, 3000 Kingsbrooke Drive, Jackson on Friday, October 28, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. with Rev. Ed Ross officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Great Lakes Caring (formerly Great Lakes Hospice), 900 Cooper St. Jackson, MI 49202. The family would like to extend our gratitude to the staffs of Great Lakes Hospice and Arbor North Living Center for their caring and kindness.
