Of Jackson, MI passed away peacefully at her home under the care of hospice on December 2, 2020 at the age of 93. Jenny was born on May 25, 1927 to parents Peter and Mary Wegrzyn. She married Edward Pluta in Jackson on January 8, 1949. They were married for 57 years until his death in 2005. Jenny was a universal caregiver and retired from Jackson County Medical Care Facility after 15+ years with of service. She collected angels and loved Christmas Season. Jenny was a generous and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was very proud of her Polish heritage, and also an excellent cook. Jenny is survived by her children Marilyn (Larry) Muck, Richard Pluta, Kathy (Danny) Crance, and Daniel Pluta; daughter-in-law Lori Pluta; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edward Pluta, her son Robert E. Pluta, and her five siblings. There will be a private service for Jenny, and she will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. John's Catholic Cemetery.
