Gayle A. McManus

Of Jackson, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the age of 73. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis McManus. She will be remembered by her daughter, Nancy Prescott; granddaughter, Ashley Norris; grandson, Austin (Ashley) Morris; great grandchildren, Sophiya and Kora; siblings, Jim (Gloria) Curtis, Dennis Curtis and Kathy (Howard) Kemp as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Gayle was born in Jackson, Michigan to Stewart and Shirley Curtis on February 22, 1950 and is a Graduate of Northwest High School. Gayle worked as a supervisor at Dial Machine and Tool and then retired from there after many years of service. She had a strong Faith in the Lord and often put the wants and needs of others before her own. She was a hardworking and loving homemaker. Gayle enjoyed being a pet owner. She took very good care of her animals. A funeral Service for Gayle will be held at Burden and Patience-Montgomery on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service for visitation. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
