Gloria Bliss Bliss Federer Stevens

Of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at a sparkling 85 years of age. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hugh D. Federer and Edward Stevens; two sisters, June Wygant and Marilyn Lyter. She will be remembered by her three daughters, Nanette S. (John) Long, Sandra L. (Terry) Heller and Frances D. (David) Miller; eight grandchildren, Corbin (Nicole) Long, Dr. Brittany Long, Mckenna (Brenna) Long, Gloria Long, Lorelei Long, Elise Miller, Collin Miller and Bryce Heller and as Auntie Gee to nieces and nephews as well as many loving neighbors and friends. Gloria was born to Rollin and Frances Bliss in Jackson. She was a graduate of Jackson High and attended Hillsdale College. She was proud of her Jackson heritage, where she raised her family. Gloria volunteered for many organizations, events and causes throughout the community. She touched the lives of many and will always be remembered. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church 275 W. Michigan Ave. where a memorial service honoring her life will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 11:00A.M. with Reverend Ed Ross officiating. Family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M. for visitation. In lieu of flowers those who wish may make contributions in her honor to the First United Methodist Church.
