age 64, of Michigan Center, Michigan passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, in Chelsea, Michigan. Greg was born in Jackson, Michigan March 23, 1961, to David and Thelma (Wireman) Burchett. He is survived by his sons Kyle Gregory Burchett, and Joshua Tyler (Alyssa) Burchett; mother Thelma; sister Patricia Ann Obenour; step-son Shawn Patrick Minix, as well as his former wife, Michele Allen.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, and two brothers, Jeffrey David Burchett and Christopher Lee Burchett. He worked for over 30 years at the Chelsea Milling Company, in Chelsea Michigan. In his free time he loved being outside. He enjoyed camping, mowing his lawn with his John Deere tractor, and keeping an eye on his peach tree! He also loved working on his mustang, lifting weights, and watching television shows about cars. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
A visitation for Gregory will be held Thursday, August 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, 1806 E Michigan Ave., Jackson, Michigan 49202, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
