I still cant begin to wrap my head around the fact you are gone. Crazy its gonna be a year you left us soon. Its been hard on everyone, including me.. Our girls are doing AMAZING in school and sports, gracie has been on the all A'S honor roll 2 semesters in a row and jersey is getting all A'S AND B'S so i have to think im doing very well with them. We talk about you often, laugh quite a bit at some of the great memories we have had, even before the girls were born. I promised you i would keep your memory alive and positive and i have kept my word. I miss you.. im sure you and my brother are up there giving each other crap, which is fine, just make sure both of you angels watch over us and keep us safe. Til we see each other again, FLY HIGH AND FROM TIME TO TIME, LET US KNOW YR STILL HERE. when there is a headstone on yr grave, the girls and i have something special to add to it... with love always, me and our babies.... xoxoxox

My heart is shattered and it feels like I've lost my second son. I knew Gregory looked up to me, and that was confirmed Wednesday in a text he sent me. Gregory has always been a sympathetic person and he always would say to me "You're the best, Uncle Rick". It was not uncommon for Gregory to text me, and he always let me know I was the good guy.

Greg never called me Rick, ever! It was always "Uncle Rick". I had no idea at the time that Gregory was saying goodbye to me.

Gregory, they'll love you in Heaven.
