Hattie Mae Thomas Jackson

Of Jackson, passed away with family and friends present by her side at Allegiance Hospital at the age of 85 years on February 26, 2012. She was born on April 4, 1926 to Green and Georgia Thomas. She was employed by the Green Thumb program and worked at the Jackson Transit Authority from the early 80’s to the late 90’s. She was the last of her generation on both her father and mothers families. She was the loving mother of Chestine Marie Jackson and Cleveland Reed Jr. (Gloria) of Jackson, MI, and grandmother of Summer Clevevonna Reed. She is also survived by five nephews, Carl Walker Sr., David Walker, B.J. Thomas, Eugene Thomas, and Jessie Thomas; one niece, Ruth Ann Walker, and a Host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held at the Second Missionary Baptist Church, 304 E. Prospect St., Friday, March 2, 2012 at 12:00 P.M. Family hour Friday 11:00 A.M. until service time. Public viewing at the funeral home Thursday 3 to 8 P.M.
