Heather "June" Allison

Heather "June" Allison of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the age of 86. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Bob Allison. She will be remembered by her two daughters, Debbie and Tammy; her five bonus children, Jim, John, Jamie, Jill and Jody; her grandchildren and loving family members and friends. June was born February 21, 1937 to Frank and Ethel Foster. She retired from Mechanical Products after 35 years of service. June was a social butterfly who was insatiably independent and like to stay busy. She was an avid reader and would read anything she could get her hands on. She prided herself on maintaining her beautiful flower garden. June enjoyed nature. She could often be found hunting in the woods, fishing on Lake Michigan or canoeing. She enjoyed playing games such as Rummy and Left Right Center. June was an active member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed watching mystery and crime shows on TV and was an avid MSU fan - Sparty on! She was a volunteer at the Democratic office in Jackson as well as the local UAW. June had a sweet tooth and loved all kinds of pies. She also enjoyed a good fish fry. She had fond memories of her travels with Bob and friends throughout the United States. June was a proud grandmother. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
