Of Jackson, went to be with the Lord, on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the age of 73. He is survived by his wife of nineteen years, Beverly Seales-Chapman; brother, Richard (Virginia) Chapman; son, Johnny Seales and daughter, Jenny (Mike) Woodruff; two granddaughters, Crystal and Tiffany Price; four great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Mr. Chapman was born to Jack and Margaret (Prewett) Chapman in Kansas on November 4, 1943. They relocated to Jackson when he was young and he is a graduate of Jackson High. Jack was employed with Jackson Public Schools for over thirty years; he retired in 2004. He enjoyed gardening, collecting cars, spending time with family, and was an avid University of Michigan fan. He touched the hearts and lives of many and will be greatly missed. Cremation has been chosen with no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
