Jacqueline Anne Block

Jackie was born on August 31, 1967, and from the very beginning she lived a life defined by compassion, kindness, and unwavering love for others. She dedicated much of her life to caring for her family as a stay-at-home mother, raising her two sons with endless devotion. Later, she pursued her dream of becoming a nurse, graduating on May 14, 2016, and beginning a career at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, Michigan. She quickly became known for her deep empathy and skill, earning multiple Daisy Awards in recognition of the extraordinary care she gave her patients. Even as she faced her own battle with cancer over the past year, Jackie continued to stay positive and uplift those around her.

Family was always at the center of Jackie's life. She found her greatest joy in time spent with her husband, children, and grandchildren, especially on family trips to Blue Lake in northern Michigan. Whether sharing laughter around the table, offering a word of encouragement, or creating special memories, Jackie had a gift for making everyone feel loved and cherished.

Jackie is survived by her husband, Troy; children, Paul (Alysa), Sam (Nadia), and stepson, Josh; grandchildren, Gianna and Ronin; mother Bianca; and siblings, Matt (Cathy), Fara (Rob), and Sam (Kim). She will be deeply missed by her extended family, colleagues, and the many friends whose lives she touched.

She was preceded in death by her father, Nick, and her mother-in-law, Linda.

Though her time on earth was far too short, Jackie's legacy of love, strength, and compassion will live on through her family and in the countless lives she enriched. Her warmth and spirit will be remembered always.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Avenue Jackson, Michigan 49202). Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church (913 Napoleon Rd. Michigan Center, Michigan 49254) with visitation starting at 10:00 AM. Jacqueline's will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska, MI Saturday, September 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM.
