age 57 passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the age of 57. He was born in Jackson, MI to James and Beverly Kirk on July 27, 1967. James is survived by his wife of 25 years Kathleen James; children, Joey Bray, Maguell (Taylor-Ann) Trujillo, and Riky (Caitlin) Trujillo; grandchildren, Lilly, Nolan, Emma, Nicholas and Noah. In addition to his parents James was preceded in death by his Twin brother Jeff Kirk.
James served on the USS Nimitz (nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, the lead ship of the Nimitz-class, and the oldest active aircraft carrier in the U.S. Navy. It is currently undergoing its likely final deployment in the Pacific and is scheduled to decommission in 2026).
James will be missed by all who knew him. No services are scheduled at this time.
