James Franklin Poole

Mr. James Franklin Poole was born on November 20, 1944 to James and Alice Poole in Ann Arbor, Michigan. James was lovingly known as “JR”. He was a loving, caring, strong-willed father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He truly enjoyed his family. He was a dedicated employee of Adair Printing for many years until Adair went out of business. He was a man of great faith and a strong believer of God. He departed this life on December 23, 2017. He leaves to cherish his memory sons: Jason Harold White, Tracy Maurice Poole, Jeffery Morris (Chelsea) Poole and Dewayne Brennan; daughters: Pamela O’Day, Joan Marie (Keith) Sumner and Tamikio Mahoney; thirty-eight grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild; sister, Cynthia Bray; brothers: Raymond Poole and William Poole; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. James was blessed to have very special friends: Tim Young, Elijah Jenkins, Terry Tatum and Gerald McClendon. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hallie Poole; his parents, James Poole, Sr. and Alice Poole; three sisters: Shirley Brown, Janet Williams and Elizabeth Hicks; and one brother, Clyde Poole. A memorial service will be held at New Macedonia Church (1020 Francis St. Jackson, Mi.) on Saturday December 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M.
