James Michael Stump

James Michael Stump. Age 51. 1989 honors graduate of Northwest High School, Jackson MI. Jim attended Fort Lauderdale Institute of Art to study film. Strong but gentle with razor-sharp smarts and humor, charming everyone with his captivating dimpled grin. He loved movies and (loud) music of all kinds, enjoyed concerts, family gatherings and dreaming up Shark Tank-worthy proposals. Jim worked 30 years in the construction trade where he found his niche working on infrastructures across the country. Happy and proud, sharing the view hundreds of feet above ground on major bridges. He passed away after a short medical condition, at home with his girlfriend Vicky and their dog Nala in Brooklyn MI. Jim was preceded in death by his stepfather Jerry. He is survived by his mother, Lynn Hoskins, father Michael Stump (Susan), daughters Naomi and Callie Stump, sister Laurie Apling (Patrick), brothers Joseph and Jonathan Stump, and his small grandchildren Ozzy and Willow. And many others who love and miss him. There will be a Celebration of Life to honor his love for outdoors at a later date.
