Jamie M. Hampton

Of Jackson, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the age of 30. He is survived by his wife, Tiffany (Suydam); step-son, Joe; mother, Robin Owen; father, Harold Hampton; brother, Joshua (Jennifer) Hampton; grandfather, Dan Owen; nephews, Dominiq and Xander; niece, Jordyn as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie and Ruth Hampton and Ruth Owen also an uncle and one aunt. Jamie was born in Owosso, Mi. and grew up in Ovid, Mi. until his teen years when the family moved to the Lansing area and later to Jackson, Mi. where he met his wife. Jamie was a kind person with a warm heart; he had a passion for cars and motorcycles since his childhood. He enjoyed wrenching on cars with his friends. According to his wishes cremation has been chosen and a service honoring his life is scheduled at Loomis Park Baptist Church 2301 Elm Ave, Jackson 49201, on Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 2:00p.m. with Pastor Rich Zawadzki officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated.
