Joan Carol (“JoAnn” or “Jo”) Craft -
Of Jackson, MI, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at the age of 77. She is survived by her children, James (Cheryl) Craft and John (Nozomi) Craft; grandson Mark Craft; siblings, Richard Fodor and Michael Fodor, as well as nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends. In addition to her parents, Joan was preceded in death by, husband, Thomas; son, Thomas D.; brothers, John Fodor, Dennis Fodor and Stanley Fodor; and infant sister, Renée. Joan was born in Jackson, Michigan to Earl Langlois and Betty Beebe, on May 17, 1941. Joan graduated from Jackson High School in Jackson, MI, and attended Jackson Community College. Joan and Thomas were married in Jackson, MI, on October 8, 1958 and were long time members of the Church of Jesus Christ in Albion, MI. Joan was a homemaker and she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, collecting recipes, reading the bible and spending time with family and friends. Joan’s children would like to thank Thelma, Amanda, Monique, Landua and Essence for their dedicated and compassionate care of their mother. A service honoring Joan's life will be held at the Oak Chapel in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson, MI, on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Bill Pogue officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place after the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Joan's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Church of Jesus Christ in Albion, MI.
