

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 under the compassionate care of Henry Ford Hospital at the age of 81. He will be remembered by his children, Nikki Brannon, Marc (Diane) Jimenez, Skott (Melissa) Jimenez, and Keri Jimenez; 17 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carlos, Ignacio, Eugenia, Enriqueta, Gloria, and Alfonso; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcelino and Alejandrina Jimenez; daughter, Aamber Jimenez; and siblings, Mina Frausto, and Raul Jimenez. John was born in Monterrey, Mexico on February 16, 1943 and at the age of 33, he became a United States Citizen. He retired as a machine operator for Eaton Manufacturing. In his spare time, John was an automobile enthusiast and owned various classic cars. He participated in car shows through the years, and once won the People's Choice Award for his T- Bucket. John was a reliable handyman and was known for his ability to repair everything and anything. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and family gatherings. He adored the time spent with his family and would often call his children to ask if he could have the grand/great-grandchildren, and would spend every minute with them that he could. John touched the hearts and lives of many and will be dearly missed. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life along with his sister, Mina Frausto, will be held Sunday March 24, 2024 from 10-4 pm at Fraternal Order of Eagles (301 Detroit St. Jackson, MI 49201). Donations will be graciously accepted by the family at the memorial service.
