Of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54 on May 23, 2017. He was born on June 13, 1962 in Hammond, Indiana. He is married to Doris Kirk. John worked as a pizza maker at Jaxon Pizza Factory. He is survived by his wife, Doris; his children, Tricia (Brock) Cavins, Travis Wilson, and Jade Kirk; grandchildren, Jasmin, Jalyn, Aniyah, Grace, and Kaylee; siblings, Jonie (Chris) Kirchis, Donna McBride, Robert Kirk, and Raymond (Connie) Kirk; special niece, Mabel Kirk; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was loved by many. He was preceded in death by his mom, Gale Kirk; sister, Cynthia Ellis; and daughter, Nicole Kirk. Cremation has been chosen with a memorial service to be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 12:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park – Oak Chapel (1425 N. Elm Ave, Jackson, MI). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for final expenses.
