John Harvey Molden Jr.

John Harvey Molden, Jr. Of Jackson, MI., passed away at home under the care of Great Lakes Care Hospice and long-time caregiver Pam on March 28, 2019 at the age of 74. John was born May 25, 1944 to parents John Sr., and Fern Molden in Independence, MO. He proudly served our country in the US Army at the end of the Korean War and did two tours during the Vietnam War. He received the Good Conduct Medal and the Republic Vietnam Campaign Medal while in the service. John was a maintenance worker for CRC in Chelsea, MI. He also worked for American One Credit Union and Granada Apartments as a maintenance worker. John was a member of the VFW. John is survived by sons Timothy (Jenny) Molden and David Molden; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren, although he never met them, they carry his name, sister Irene (Carroll) Peek; three nephews; very special friend and caregiver Pam; many cousins and friends. The family would like to thank caregivers Emma and Michelle from Great Lakes Care Hospice. He is preceded in death by his parents. A celebration of John's life will be held at later date.
