Of Jackson, passed November 18, 2013 age 84. Survived by his wife of 9 months, Carolyn, 4 children, Ruth (Lonnie) Staton, Larry (Julie) Yager, Ray Yager and Angela Yager, 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife of 55 years, Margaret and his oldest son Jack. John served in the Army during Korean Conflict and was a life time member of the V.F.W. A celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home Saturday 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Murphy Gill officiating. Private burial Roseland Cemetery. Visitation Saturday 12:00 P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Carter Buffum Mitiocondrial Foundation.
