

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, at the age of 83, on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was born on October 20, 1930 in Nevoliani. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Angie; his sister, Mitra, of Nevoliani; his brother, Louie (Rena); and sister-in-law, Magda, of Toronto. He was a Chef at Yanko's in Akron, Ohio; Gilbert's Steakhouse, WC’s and Steve's Ranch, all in Jackson. He touched the lives of many; he loved his wife and was so proud of his family and his church. He enjoyed the fellowship of friends and brought joy to those that knew him. He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Mary Ann (Chuck), Debbie, and Dave (Patti); eleven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pandora Biskaris; and brother, Efto. He was an active member of St. Demetrius Orthodox Church (3043 Seymour Rd Jackson, MI 49204) where funeral service will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:30 am with Father Dusan Koprivica officiating. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00pm at the church with a Panihida service at 7:00pm. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Demetrius Orthodox Church.
