Joseph “Jody” F. Mandrelle, Jr. –

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2018. Joseph was born on June 24, 1947 in Jackson to parents Joseph F. and Dorothy J. (Behler) Mandrelle. He was the owner of Mandrelle Construction Company for many years. Joseph was a music enthusiast, often playing for nursing homes. He loved being outdoors fishing and was an avid sports fan of the Detroit Tigers. He was a very social person and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a proud Veteran serving our Country during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his son: Joe (Angela) Mandrelle; siblings: Dottie (Dick) Dawson, Patsy Krygoski, Peetie Lippiman, and Bobby Mandrelle; and many friends and family. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frankie Gillette; and brother, Jack Mandrelle. A celebration of Joseph’s life will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel with Military Honors and a visitation from 11:00 am until time of service.

Joe will always be remembered as a good friend. He had a kind heart and was always good natured. He was always willing to lend a helping hand as he did for me many times. Joe became part of our family over the years and will be missed greatly. I will miss his smiling face. Rest In Peace Joe.
