

Of Jackson, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016 at the age of 85. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, June (Weiger) Dunnuck and daughter, Jennifer Ortiz. He is survived by his four children, Daniel (Nancy) Dunnuck, Paul (Beth) Dunnuck, Linda Carrothers, and David (Kathy) Dunnuck; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; as well as many loving family members and friends. Kenneth was born in Warsaw, Indiana on December 10, 1930; the eldest of four children born to Maurice and Cathern (Blue) Dunnuck. After proudly serving in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict he received a Degree in Education at Indiana University; he taught Math and Chemistry for two years before becoming a High School Principal for twenty-five years. Mr. Dunnuck continued to work as a substitute teacher in the Jackson area for twenty-seven years after his retirement and also served as an administrator in a small Parochial School in Bloomington, Indiana. He attended Fellowship Baptist Church in Clark Lake, where he also taught at the Christian School. Services honoring his life will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Daniel White officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. then again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Military Honors. Memorial contributions in his honor may be made to Allegiance Hospice.
