Lee D. Stringham

Age 79 of Hanover, Michigan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 9, 2020. Lee was born May 11, 1940 in Jackson, Michigan and was the son of Dorthy (Hillis) and Robert Marriott. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Norma; four sons, Craig (Angel), Randy (Bridget), Douglas (Toni), and David (Crystal); eight grandchildren, Nicki (Nick), Jenni (Jason), Cody (Nikki), Kyle, Kalee, Benjamin, Jordyn, and Arionna; four great-grandchildren, Declan, Julian, Sloane, and Letti. Lee was preceded in death by his daughter Dianna Lee, parents Dorthy and Robert Marriott, and Grandparents Dwight and Edith Stringham. Lee enjoyed golfing, showing his 57’ Chevy at the car shows and parades, and stock car racing in his earlier years. He worked for Clark Equipment for 25 years and he was owner of the East Side Lounge until 1999 before retiring. He was a huge Michigan Fan but most of all loved being a husband, father, and grandfather. Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held at a later date. We say goodbye to a beloved man that was loved and admired by so many; you will forever be in our hearts. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Cascade Humane Society.
