Of Springport, Michigan passed away on May 2, 2026, at the age of 93. Leo was born on January 23, 1933, to parents Hattie Madaline Laro and Leo Virgil McClure, Sr. Leo served in the United States Air Force from 1952-1956. He then worked for the City of Jackson for 35 years as a heavy equipment operator. Leo was a great storyteller, and enjoyed reading and playing cards, especially Rummy. He enjoyed working on cars and loved helping people out. He was loved by all his family. Leo is survived by his sister Cheryl McClure and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings George, David, Alfred, Timmy, Fred, Kathy, and Debra; niece Sonja McClure; and cousin Fred McClure. A celebration of Loe’s Life will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home ( 1806 East Michigan Ave Jackson) with visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service.
