

Of Parma, Michigan passed away on Monday, September 29, 2025, at the age of 76. Linda was born in Highland Park, Michigan on May 23, 1949, to parents Kenneth Earl and Margaret Ruth (Woodward) Young. She married her husband of 60 years Edward L. Crockett on April 13, 1965. Linda worked in the food industry for many years and loved to please people, especially her family. She would travel with her husband and family quite often whether it be to go on vacation or in the semi-truck. She loved to knit and make quilts but especially enjoyed making new friends when she went to bingo. Linda is survived by her four children, Namon E. Crockett, Margaret Raser, Edward L. Crockett Jr. and David J. Crockett; four grandchildren, Ashley N. Young, Ryan S. (Cris) Count, Brandon (Casey) Counts, and Nathan R. Crockett; great grandchildren Lilly (Phillip) Myers, Calen Hankins, Serenity Greathouse, Kiya Greathouse, Kylea Young, and GrayLin W. Counts; great-great grandchildren Hunter, Grayson, Jasper, Lincoln, and Leia; brother-in-law Lowell Hoyland; sister-in-law Sharon Young; as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Edward L. Crockett, parents Kenneth and Margaret Young, brother William Young, sisters Connie Hoyland and Kay Bolin, mother-in-law Hazel Bunning, and sister-in-law Carol Hall. A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Burden -Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 East Michigan Ave) with Mr. Ron Devers officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home and again on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 2:00 PM until time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
