Linda A Wright

She was born in Detroit, Michigan to Bernice Knight, May 6, 1952. She married Fred Wright on June 28, 1969 and they were married for more than 50 years before he preceded her in death in 2022. She was also preceded in death by her mother, her sisters Suzie Dingus and Janet Aumend; and brothers Bill and Bob Knight.

Linda is survived by her children Brian Wright, Deana (Randy) Berlin, Jolene (Kevin) Shannon and Nick (Emily) Wright; brothers Rick, Don, Jim and Jack Knight; sisters Nancy Knight and Judy Harmon; grandchildren Dustyn, Austin (Maggie), Kalie, Masyn (Dawson), Andrew, Kaden, Brody, Reese and Izabel; great-grandchildren Lyla and Mia; and special friend Patty Harmon.

Linda worked at Milsco for 29 years. There she met many wonderful, lifelong friends, including her best friend, Patty. They were your modern day Thelma and Louise. Linda's passion was camping. She was the happiest when she was out at the campground, music playing, surrounded by friends and family. She also frequented an occasional casino here and there!

Her family will remember her as a lifelong caregiver. She helped care for many family members along the way. She always had the biggest heart. After her soulmate and husband of 52 years passed, she longed for his presence everyday. The family can find comfort in knowing they are reunited again.

A Celebration of Life will take place on October 4, 2025 from 12-3 PM, at 949 E. South Street, in the building in the back, behind Spinks' garage.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to help cover cremation expenses.
