Lois Ann Myers

Of Jackson, passed away at her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the age of 71 while under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Gentiva Hospice and her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Myers, Sr. She is survived by her three sons, Jack (Shanna) Myers, Jr., Mike (Danielle) Myers and Ken (Wendy) Myers; seven grandchildren, Zachary, Airianna, Hunter, Corey, Mercedes, Donovan and Peyton; great granddaughter, Autumn; sister, Sharon Howard and sister-friend, Julie Brzezinski, as well as many nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Lois was born to Paul and Ethel (Edwards) Mitchell in Clintwood, Virginia on September 13, 1951. She relocated to Michigan with her family and is a 1969 Graduate of East Jackson High School. Lois married Jack Myers, Sr. in 1970 and together they raised their family. Lois retired as a secretary after many years at East Jackson Public Schools. She enjoyed the artistic challenges of scrapbooking and crocheting. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. According to her wishes cremation has been chosen and the family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) on Tuesday evening from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. followed by thoughts shared by family and friends at 6:00 P.M. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
