Of Jackson passed away on December 12, 2013 at the age of 87. She was born on December 25, 1925 to Harry and Gladys O’Dell in Jackson, MI. “Onnalee” married Lewis West. After Lewis passed, she met and married Ray Haines. She owned and operated “Marguerite’s Restaurant” in Stockbridge, Michigan for ten plus years. “Onnalee” was a member of Grace Church; she was generous to a fault, loved being with her children and grandchildren bunches and bunches; and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children; Marlene (Ed) Ramsdell, Larry West, Lee (Jeanette) West, Melanie (Kevin) Snider; step-children, Judy (Frank) Lovejoy, Rick (Karen) Haines, Carol Jean (Ron) Sager; brother, Norman O’Dell; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters. Per her wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on December 17, 2013 from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: Heartland Hospice or The John George Home.
