Of Jackson, MI passed away unexpectedly on January 3, 2021 at the age of 73. Marilyn was born in Jackson on April 7, 1947 to parents Gerald and Kathleen Hodson. She married Ronald Kelly on November 8, 2003. Marilyn was a retired cashier, attended Loomis Park Baptist Church and a 1965 Jackson High School graduate. She was an avid U of M sports fan and loved to sew. Marilyn is survived by her husband Ronald Kelly; sisters Carolyn Reed and Sharon Hodson; children Thomas (Cindy) Nunn and Todd (Samantha) Nunn; grandchildren Todd McKenna and Kyla Nunn; nephew Jim Reed; and nieces Lori Fessenden, Sarah Appel, Faith Williams, and Mandy Thorn. She is preceded in death by her parents Gerald and Kathleen Hodson, husband Thomas Nunn, brother Ronald Hodson, sister-in-law Mary Hodson, and brother -in- law Jim Reed. Per her wishes, a private visitation will be held with no public services. She will be laid to rest next to Thomas Nunn at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
