Of Spring Arbor, passed away September 10, 2012 at the age of 62. Survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Mickie; two sons, Chris (Joy) Gebhardt, Joe Gebhardt and Amanda Shook; six grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Hannah, Katelyn, Austin (Courtney) and Marcus; his father, Donald Gebhardt; one sister, Nancy (Howard) Fields; one niece, Katie, one nephew, George III; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Gray, Yvonne (George Jr.) Ellis, Paula (Mike) Wahr; his mother-in-law, Dorothy Gray. Preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy on April 2, 2012 and one brother, Gary. He retired from the Michigan Department of Corrections with 23 years of service and was a member of the NRA and the Republican Party. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday September 15, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mark VanValin officiating. Burial Hillcrest Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 6-8 P.M. and Friday 4-8 P.M.
