Mary Louise Davis

Mary was born in Lansing, Michigan. She graduated from Jackson High School and lived in Jackson the majority of her adult life.

She was a member of several clubs and organizations through her lifetime, ending with the Lions Club of Michigan Center and Englewood, Florida.

She enjoyed going to the casino, traveling, entertaining and cooking for the family.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband, Russell Garth Davis and her parents, Louis and Lila Krauss and Charlotte and Guy Gossett.

She is survived by her children, Linda Rice, Deborah (James) Fraga, Michael Wright and Glenda (Don) Taber, step-daughter, Vicki Duckham, Linda Davis.

She was blessed to have nine grandchildren, David Rice Jr., Jerry Jonas, Derek Rice, Jason Wright, Bayley Taber, Kenny Wright, Kristina Herron, Kevin Baker and Kenny Baker.

Mary also leaves behind eleven great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was a loving, kind and caring person with a quiet inner strength. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.

A Private Graveside Memorial Service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 1425 N. Elm, Jackson, Michigan, on August 28, 2026.
