Of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2016 at the age of 18. Matt was born on January 15, 1998 in Jackson, MI to Kathy Newman and Pete Mc Millen. Matt was a handyman and loved to tinker with everything. He also loved BMX bike, racing at the parks and listening music, He will be remembered for his love of family, friends and Oreo’s. Matt had aspirations of becoming a welder just like his brother Josh. He is survived by his parents, Kathy and Pete, siblings, Joshua (Amanda), Nathan, Alicia (Blake), grandmother, Vivian, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Matt was preceded in death by grandmother’s Candice Curey and Virginia Kurtz. Per his wishes cremation has been chosen with a celebration of Matt’s life on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the funeral home at 11:00 am with visitation from 10:00am until time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family.
