Of Leslie, Michigan, passed away on September 27, 2016. Mel was born on October 23, 1934 to parents Orville C. and Lilas Moss in Jackson, Michigan. He married the love of his life, Madonna, on November 19, 1956 in Jackson. Mel was a Welder by trade and was very good at it. He is survived by his sons, Marlon and Marvin (Sandra) Moss; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and brother, Merwin (Joy) Moss. Mel was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Madonna. A celebration of Mel’s life will be held on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 11:00am at Roseland Memorial Gardens Chapel (3744 Brooklyn Rd M-50) with visitation from 10:30 am until time of service. Mel will be laid to rest next to his wife.
