Of Harrison, Michigan passed away on June 9, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born on September 14, 1933 to Fred and Almira Bland in Jackson, Michigan. Melvina married Eugene Wetzel on January 6, 1951 in Pleasant Lake Michigan. She was a homemaker and love spending time with family and friends. Melvina is survived by her children; Bonny Wetzel, Gray (Deborah) Wetzel, Pete Wetzel, Gene (Darlene) Wetzel, Seventeen grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one brother, one sister, three sister-in-law’s and Dovie Wetzel. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Eugene, daughter, Dianna Rodrick, granddaughter and five sibling’s. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 14, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with visitation on Thursday, June 13, 2013 from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Melvina will be laid to rest next to her husband at Pleasant Grove Cemetery Munith, Michigan.
