Passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Nichols and her sister, Gertrude Hopcraft. She is survived by her children, Sharon Hutchins and Cyril (Linda) Nichols; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Minnie was born in Albion, MI to Gerald and Maude Osmun, she graduated from Albion High School then relocated to Jackson, where she married in 1936 and raised a family. Mrs. Nichols worked alongside her husband as owner and operators of Leonard Laundry. She was a lifelong member of the Jackson Chapter Women of the Moose. A service celebrating her life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October, 16, 2013 at 11:00a.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8p.m. with a Lodge of sorrow service held at 7:00p.m.
