Of Ypsilanti, Michigan passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the age of 83. Nancy is survived by her children; Christopher Chadwick and Shelah Chadwick. She was born in Jackson, Michigan to John H. and Irene T. (Swierzbin) Zawacki on December 14, 1940. Nancy was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Francis of Assisi, Ann Arbor, Michigan. She owned Chadwick Garden Center and was a floral designer. Nancy also worked at Kohl's department store on Lohr in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was married to Robert L. Chadwick 43 years until his passing on December 16, 2009. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents. A service will be held Monday, February 5, 2024 at 11:30 am at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, Michigan 49202). Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until time of service. Nancy will be laid to rest at St. John Cemetery in Jackson, Michigan. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory can be made to Huron Valley Humane Society (3100 Cherry Hill Rd. Ann Arbor, Michigan 48105).
