Norma Louise Wilkinson

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on December 26, 2024 at the age of 94. Norma was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 23, 1930 to parents Bernard and Frances (Bunker) Boland. She married her husband of 50 years Donald Eugene Wilkinson on September 23, 1950 In Jackson Michigan. Norma was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church for 65+ years and a member of Eastern Star, Ladies Fez Club, the quilt guild and Prayers and Squares at Calvary Church. She worked for and retired from Vista Grande Villa as the Sales Administrator. Norma was a hospice volunteer for many years. She and Don were also in Guys and Dolls dance club and belonged to several golf leagues in the Jackson area. Norma was a beautiful seamstress, making quilts, clothing, and window treatments. She loved traveling, spending time on the pontoon boat, playing cards, and spending time with family. She enjoyed collecting Hummel figurines, Norman Rockwell Christmas ornaments, and Armetale dishes. Norma is survived by her daughters Yvonne Tracy and Colleen (Rick) Frinkle; grandchildren Abbey (Aaron) Norris, Wayne (Jennifer) Frinkle, and Meredith (Dennis) Doherty; great grandchildren Nolan, Brooks, and Josephine Norris, Kyle and Ava Frinkle, and Jorden Frinkle; great-great granddaughter Kinley; and sister Phylis Chamberlain. She is preceded in death by her parents Bernard and Frances Boland, husband Donald Wilkinson, siblings Bernard Boland Jr. (Little Bernie) and Roberta Halsey, and son-in-law Steve Tracy. A celebration of Norma’s life will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Calvary United Methodist Church (925 Backus St, Jackson, MI 49202) with a memorial visitation at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM and from 10:00 AM until time of service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital (2900 N. Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, FL 33607) or Calvary United Methodist Church (925 Backus St, Jackson, MI 49202).
