Of Jackson, passed away November 14, 2013, age 92. Survived by his wife of thirty-one years, Ruth; seven children, Bill Vowels, Kenneth (Bonnie) Vowels, Roger Vowels, Robert (Sharon) Vowels, Roy (Dow) Baker, Dolly (David) Moore and Annette (Mike) Brown; twenty-two grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years, Hellen and one son, Stephen Baker. He was a lifelong member of the Pleasant Lake Masonic Lodge. He served in the Army during WWII and earned 4 Bronze Stars. He loved to work in the yard, go fishing and go to garage sales. A celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home Tuesday November 19, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. Burial in Leoni Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation Sunday 2-5 P.M. and Monday 6-8 P.M.
