

Of Jackson, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at the age of 89. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Joan “Jo” and one sister, Ethel Farnham Ward. He is survived by his daughter, Cindy (Bob) Ksiazkiewcz, of Jackson; granddaughter, Tracie Jo Sutliff of Michigan Center; special friend granddaughter, Michele Sawyer of Michigan Center; and his two special yorkies, Zoie Jo and Joie Zo; granddaughter, Heather Farnham of Maryland; four great grandchildren, Haley, Tatum, Michael and Abigail; niece, Luree (John) Gean of Hanover; two nephews, Jeff and Paul Ward of Florida; son, Tom (Pat) Farnham of Florida and grandson, Tom Sutliff. Mr. Farnham was a Veteran of WWII, serving in the Marine Corps. He retired from the Postal Service after 30 years of service in 1977. He was the 2nd Ward Commissioner in Jackson during the 1960’s and was Scout Master of troop 306 he also worked for the paper drive for the Shriners in Florida, were they lived for 20 years after retirement; he enjoyed cooking, baking and cake decorating. A special acknowledgement to “Our Mom” Anna Ksiazkiewicz for being there for the family and special thanks to the staff at John Ganton’s Countryside for treating our dad and grandpa as if he were a member of their family, especially “the boss” Amy and Scott, for keeping him in line and manageable, as well as Hospice of Jackson for their compassionate care. According to his wishes a private service will take place at a later date. For those who wish, contributions in his honor may be made to John Ganton’s Countryside or to Allegiance Hospice.
