Pam dedicated 40 years of her life serving Jackson and the surrounding communities as a loan processor at several local banks, retiring from County National Bank in 2024. She built lasting relationships throughout her career and was known for her dedication, work ethic, and warm spirit.
Pam had the biggest heart and an unwavering instinct to care for anyone or anything in need — whether it was people, plants, or animals. She was especially known for her beautiful gardens, lovingly tending to an array of vibrant plants and flowers that surrounded her home. She found joy in baking, crafting, and making others feel welcome and cared for. Her nurturing spirit extended far beyond her own family; so much so that many children, even those not related to her, lovingly called her “Grandma Pam.”
She cherished traveling to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to visit family, even though crossing the Mackinac Bridge absolutely terrified her. Pam’s joyful spirit was unmistakable. She was often heard saying, “Oh, Great Day!” and could be found wearing her flip-flops everywhere, even in the middle of winter. Her sense of humor was unmatched, and she had a special gift for making people laugh, even on the hardest days.
Pam is survived by her daughter, Erica (Eric) Fudala of Escanaba, MI; her son, Adam (Myria) Russell of Somerset Center, MI; her beloved grandson, Elijah Fudala; her partner, Ned Gottschalk of Concord, MI; her sisters, Dallas (Mike) Richardson of Munising, MI, Jackie (Gerry) Bilaski of Newport, WA, and Kristina Neville of Watkins, Colorado; her brothers, Harvey “John” Dennis of Jackson, MI, and Mike (April Green) Sierminski of Concord, MI; her special sister-in-law, Sharon Sierminski of Concord, MI; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kay Sierminski; her father, Ted Sierminski; and her brothers, Ted “Butch” Sierminski and Bill Sierminski.
Pam will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her generous heart, and the love she poured into her family and her home. Her presence made life brighter, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Pam's life will be held at a later date to honor and remember her.
