

Of Jackson, formerly of Hillsdale, passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at the age of 74. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Freese; daughter, Kimberly (Richard) Freese-Beal; four grandchildren, Molly, Max, Charlotte, and Lucas; brothers, Rick (Brenda), Kevin, and Bill (Diane) Moore; sister, Susan Webb; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, loving family members, and friends. Mrs. Freese was born in Hillsdale, MI to William and Dorothy (Bowman) Moore on September 10, 1942 and is a 1960 graduate of Hillsdale High School. She was a Tupperware Sales Representative and was employed in Food Services for Jackson Public Schools for 25 years, where she touched the lives of many children. She provided coats and shoes to help children throughout her life. She continuously put the needs of others before her own. She was the matriarch of her family and took on the responsibility of organizing family get-togethers and keeping everyone close. She loved Michigan Culture, Turkeyville, Frankenmuth, traveling, etc. She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren. She had a strong Faith in the Lord and was an extremely active member of First Baptist Church of Jackson (201 S. Jackson Street 49201) where a service honoring her life will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends for visitation at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Friday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and again at the Church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. She will be laid to rest at West Woodbridge Cemetery in Camden.
