Patricia Ann Vance

Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on December 23, 2024 at the age of 61. Patricia was born in Heidelberg, Germany on October 11, 1963 to parents Kenneth C. and Ingrid L. Martin. She graduated from Jackson High School and worked at Duane Waters Hospital in the dietary department for many years before taking early retirement. Patricia loved football. Her favorite team was always the San Francisco 49ers, especially with Joe Montana, and she was a collector of all things 49ers. She also loved collecting M&Ms memorabilia and watching Hallmark movies, even in July. Patricia had the biggest heart when it came to animals. Her favorite were horses, and she loved to go to harness raceway. She also loved dogs and cats and was a donor to the Humane Society, often getting her pets from there. Patricia is survived by her mom Ingrid, sisters Peggy and Sandra (Michael), nephew Gunnar, and her aunt, uncle, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her dad Kenneth and many beloved pets. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Burden and Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, (1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, MI) with Cyndy Bagaglia-Wood officiating. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2024 from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Roseland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cascades Humane Society, (1515 Carmen Drive, Jackson, Michigan 49202).
