

Philip Watson Beach of Ann Arbor, passed away at the age of 89 on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Arbor Manor in Spring Arbor, Michigan. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his second wife of 31 years, Elizabeth Keller Beach and step daughter Joy Keller. Philip is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Arthur Bolzman) Rugila, Bradley (Ann) Beach, Andrea L. (Rick Albrecht) Beach, Paul W. (Sally) Beach, Martha (Mikhail) Johns and step-daughter, Bonnie Keller; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren and sister, Julie McDonald as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. He was born to Watson and Ruth Beach in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. After graduating from Grosse Pointe High School in 1953 as the Class President he continued his education and is a 1957 Graduate of the University of Michigan and was a member of Beta Theta Pi fraternity. He spent his career as a Pharmaceutical Rep. He was a True Michigan Man. He loved sports, especially the Michigan Wolverines, the Detroit Tiger and the Detroit Lions. Phil enjoyed fishing, friends and music. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. According to his wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside prayer service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Oak Grove East Cemetery (1833 N. Freer Rd., Chelsea, MI 48118) followed by a Noon Memorial Luncheon at 179 Little Lake Dr., Ann Arbor, MI 48103. Contributions in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Huron Valley or Doctors Without Borders.
