Of Jackson, MI passed away on June 11, 2019 at the age of 76. Philip was born on October 11, 1942 to parents Joseph and Marvel Bumb in Jackson. He married Marie on April 7, 2001 in Palm Springs, CA. Philip worked for Allegiance Hospice and was the General Sales Manager for Extreme Dodge. He also was a member of the Jackson Jaycees. Philip also was fan of Michigan State University "GO GREEN GO WHITE". Philip is survived by his wife of 18 years, Marie; children, Terri (Scott) Maino, Phillip II, Carrie Michelle (Peter) Counseller, Steve Hirsch, Lisa (David) Huffman, Steven (Melonie) Mattson, Michael (Leslie) Mattson, and Timothy (Nicole) Mattson; 18 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and his fur-baby, Fluffy. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Linda and siblings, Bona and John. A celebration of Philip’s life will be held on Tuesday, June 18, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Chas. J. Burden and Son Funeral Home, 1806 E. Michigan Ave, Jackson with family receiving friends on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 11:00 AM until time of service. He will be laid to rest at Fifield Cemetery.
