Phillip John Noppe

Phillip John Noppe, known to many as Phil, of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 66. He was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 5, 1959, to Edward and Carolyn Noppe. Phil married his beloved wife Cindi Noppe on April 29, 1988, and they shared 37 wonderful years together. He dedicated his career to the field of machining, beginning at Lynair, where he initially swept floors. Phil then moved to Sweepster, where he earned his journeyman card, and later retired from TAC. Phil was a man of many interests, enjoying fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with his grandchildren. He took great pleasure in attending their games and concerts, hiking with his wife, and cooking and loved vacationing in the U. P. as a kid and as an adult. Phil is survived by his wife Cindi and his children Dereck (Peggy) Mohon, Allie (Phil) Smith and Mallory (Brent) McCort; grandchildren Peyton, Tucker, Nathan, Carter, Brenleigh, Isaac, Piper, and one on the way. He is also survived by his siblings Suzie (Bob) Woodman, Lindy (Steve) Crocker, Mark (Manerie) Noppe, Doug (Henry) Noppe; sister-in-law Roberta Noppe; and his beloved cat Graysee. Phil was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Carolyn Noppe, and his brother Tim Noppe. In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place, and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
