Mr. Ralph Carley passed away at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospital in Jackson, Michigan on March 19, 2019 at the age of 79-years-old. Ralph was born in Jackson County, Michigan on April 7, 1939. He graduated from Ferris State University with a master's degree in marketing and attended classes at Michigan State University. He was employed by Camshaft Machine for twenty-three years as an aftermarket sales manager. His position in international sales allowed him to travel throughout the world and make many friends. Ralph served his country for six years in the Army National Guard. Ralph was a kind, generous, and gentle man. He loved to laugh, spend time with his friends, and help those in need. Ralph enjoyed classical music and playing the piano. He loved all animals. His laugh, kindness, conversation, and support were a gift to those that knew him. Ralph is survived by a brother, Richard Carley and a sister, Rena Wright; several nieces and nephews and a multitude of wonderful friends. A memorial service will be held at Chas. J. Burden & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, April 11, 2019. 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends to reminisce and share stories about Ralph from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. He will be laid to rest at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Munith, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his honor may be made to one of the following charities: Saint John's Catholic Parish in Jackson, Michigan, The Salvation Army, Jackson or Saint Luke's Clinic in Jackson, Michigan.
