Of Jackson, Michigan was 75 years old when he passed away on July 5th, 2018. He was born October 7th, 1942 and grew up in Greentown, IN. His parents were Robert E. and June E. (Brown) Hill, both deceased. He was a standout quarterback in high school and an academic All-Star throughout college where he completed all three of his degrees at Purdue University. Throughout his working career he was a successful professor in the business schools at both University of Michigan as well as Eastern Michigan University where he was department head and Professor Emeritus. Ray enjoyed horses, guns, golf, and his family, especially his two grandsons. He is survived by his brother Dr. Lindan B. Hill, sisters Mrs. Roberta J. Matchette, Dr. Lucinda B. Coulter, Mrs. Heather C. White and their families. His son Brandon E., wife Jessica, and grandsons Davis P. and Quinton J. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 1:00pm at Maple Grove Cemetery Mason MI., with visitation from 12:30pm until time of service. Memorial contributions can be made in Raymond's name to The American Red Cross and the National Rifle Association.
