Rhiannon Angelique Austin

Rhiannon Angelique Austin, 41, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Spring Arbor Township, Michigan, while driving her beloved Mazda. Born on May 9, 1984, in Quincy, Massachusetts, she brought light and energy into the world from the very beginning.

Rhiannon moved from Boston to Jackson, Michigan, two decades ago and quickly made it her home. Over the years, she became a familiar and beloved presence in the community. Her vibrant spirit and unmistakable passion for life left a lasting impression on all who knew her. A devoted music enthusiast, Rhiannon's love for live performances was unmatched. She attended hundreds of concerts throughout her life, with Godsmack holding a special place in her heart as her favorite band. For Rhiannon, music wasn't just a pastime--it was the rhythm of her soul and a defining part of who she was.

She is lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Edson Rowley III; her stepmother, Valerie Austin; her lifelong friend, Ashley Connor; and many other dear friends too numerous to mention. Rhiannon was preceded in death by her father, Michael Austin, and her mother, Virginia Austin.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 PM at Home of Edson Rowley, 4500 East Mosherville Road. Snacks at noon. Official service at 2:00 PM. Dinner to follow. Bonfire all night. Please wear purple if you like. Bring chairs and a beverage. Out of respect for her sobriety, please no alcohol.
