Of Jackson passed away February 22, 2010, age 64. Survived by one son, Christopher (Lisa Brown) Newman; one granddaughter, Patricia Matherson and her mother, Tiffany Nichole Newman; one brother, Franklin Maynard Newman Jr. Preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Jean Newman; parents, Franklin and Claudine Newman; one sister, Judith Newman; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Rock. He worked 44 years at Commonwealth Associates. Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will be held at the funeral home Sunday, March 14, 2010 from 2-5 p.m.
