Robert Edward Fowler

Of Jackson, Michigan, passed away on June 12, 2025, at the age of 81. Robert was born in Bedford, Indiana on August 22, 1943, to parents. William Robert and Lucilla (Poole) Fowler. He married the love of his life, his wife of 24 years, Marianne Fowler on May 19, 2001. Bob loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He served 4 years in the Marines, reaching the level of sergeant. He served one year in the Vietnam War, which he rarely spoke about. Bob loved his church and was dedicated to his ministry working with homebound patients. He was very involved with his military collection, having a phenomenal knowledge of it. He will be greatly missed by all and was loved beyond words. Bob is survived by his wife Marianne Fowler; daughters Amber (Peter) Cultrea and Rebecca Fowler; grandchildren Lindsey and Dominic Cultrea and Rob King; stepsons Kerry Health, Randall Health, and Greg Heath; brother William Fowler, and faithful dog Bailey. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Lucilla Fowler, Mackenzie Fakih, and Michael Charles Heath. Per Bob’s request cremation has place with a celebration of Bob’s life will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Episcopal Church (309 South Jackson Street) with The Rev. Jadon D. Hartsuff officicating.
